To get the look and design you want for your bathroom it is essential you know what colour scheme you want. Instead of going for a plain and traditional design try adding pops of colour to your room, adding a bright colour will lift your whole room while making your bathroom fit in with the rest of your décor. If you want a more chic look then you can choose neutral colours.
If you have a south facing room then it is better to invest in a cooler palette like a pale, sea blue. Blue has a tranquil and peaceful aura that is ideal for a room that receives a lot of sun light. To try something new and on trend then try a graduated paint effect in your bathroom, it will fit in with your new cooler palette.
If you want a purple bathroom, add reflective copper accents or a bath to enhance the rich wall tones. This seasons trend is dark and heavy colours with lush linens and this colour scheme fits the trend!
If you have a white bathroom then add a vivid colour to it, the brighter the better! This palette will work best if you have one favourite colour because you can use it to the max. One of our favourite pairings is green and white as it gives a more modern scheme a colourful style.
If you want a more daring scheme, then pair primary colours from the opposites ends of the colour spectrum. One of the bravest choices is red, but if you use it correctly it can add a burst of energy to your room. If you use pale aqua as a backdrop, then the vibrant accents of red will give a light-hearted vibe.
Your bathroom doesn’t just have to be a white space, embrace colour and pattern! Adding a statement wall can make your bathroom look more interesting!
