December 18, 2017
We all want our homes to look and feel all cosy and Christmassy. But we all know that it can cost a fortune to achieve this. There are so many extra costs that can end up burning a bigger whole in our pockets. When it comes to decorations, there is no need to throw money away, here are our 5 affordable ways to make your home feel festive.
1) The little touches
You don’t need to have massive Christmas decorations all over your rooms. The little touches go a long way. Add small Christmas styled furniture like cushions or a themed bed spread. This will be cost effective and be subtle but stylish.
2) Scent is key
Diffusers and candles are a wonderful way to add atmosphere to a room. In order to get the most Christmassy feel to your room, we recommend using red berry or cinnamon scented candles. As well as this, the natural glow from the candles will make your home feel cosy and warm.
3) . Table decorations
Christmas dinner can be very stressful, and judging guests are even worse! There are loads of incredible Christmas table decorations out there that are very cost effective and give off that desired Christmas feel. Table runners with a Christmas motif, or elaborate dinning chair bows, will allow you to create a wow factor, without over doing it.
4) Get crafty in the kitchen
Making your own cookies or gingerbread is a great fun creation. They can be made at a low cost and create a great point of interest for your guests.
5) Traditional investment prices
Adding a Christmas wreath to your front door or even your wall in your living room, instantly brings that festive feel. Artificial ones are a great purchase that can be used over and over again.
